WELCOME ABOARD to the 1997-98 Board of Directors
At the Annual General Meeting of November 29, five new members of
the LPM Board of Directors were elected in a tightly contested race.
Later that day, the Board met for the first time and appointments to
the Executive positions were made as listed below. We extend our
thanks to candidates Barb St. Goddard and Pat Mowat for letting their
names stand during the nomination process as well. We thank retiring
members for their years of service: Angela Tessier, Roberta Hewson,
Renée Kastrukoff, Kelly Hurley |

We would like everyone to have a chance to pop something into the
time capsule we created to mark our 10th anniversary. Here are some
ideas—bring in person or send by mail to be included before it is
sealed up for another 10 years! Suggestions: 
A local newspaper clipping of a literacy event you were involved in,
A recruitment poster or photo you use,
A page of Class predictions of where they will be in another 10 years
as a society, in literacy, in their personal lives, etc.
A personal or program mission statement at this point in time,
A personal timeline or program growth chart,
Favorite moments,
Career and family aspirations for the year 2000. |
