Raise-a-Reader DayIn 2009 LPM staff and volunteers raised more than $700, contributing to a total of more than $17,000 raised by different groups across Manitoba. With matching donations from various agencies, donations rose above the $50,000 mark. In 2008, nineteen organizations across the province benefitted from the $60,000 raised by volunteers on Raise-a-Reader Day, sponsors and the Canwest Concert Series.
