Manitoba writers donate proceeds from sale of antholgy to LPM

Dorene Meyer (pictured with LPM's project officer, Rob Sarginson) displays her recent anthology, Prairie Writers, Volume 1. Dorene and her team of writers have donated proceeds from the sale of the book to LPM. Call us for a copy and go to the launch on January 22, 2007, at 8:00pm at McNally Robinson Booksellers.

Dorene says: “When seeking a charity to donate proceeds of the book to, we saw Literacy Partners of Manitoba as an obvious choice. Their programs and services are in place to help people in the province who struggle every day with tasks we take for granted; people who would like to provide better for their families but cannot, due to low literacy."
